The total losses of the AFU for a week of fighting in the special operation zone amounted to about 13,925 people killed and wounded, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
Such figures are given by the ministry on the results of the week, we are talking about the groups “North”, “West”, “South”, “Centre”, “East” and “Dnepr”.
On 9 August, the Defence Ministry showed how a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber struck a FAB-3000 aerial bomb from the UMPK against an accumulation of AFU manpower and military equipment at a temporary deployment point in Sumy Region. The reconnaissance reported the destruction of the targets.
The Ministry of Defence is now building up forces to conduct combat operations against Ukrainian formations in the Suzhansky district of Kursk Region, where MLRSs, artillery pieces, tanks and other heavy equipment are being sent.
