Polish PM: EU should not exclude Hungary from Schengen zone

The European Union should not consider excluding Hungary from the Schengen zone. This opinion was expressed by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

“I would be cautious with statements about excluding states from the EU,” TASS quoted him as saying.

According to Tusk, Europe “should not alienate Hungarians from themselves.”

Earlier it was reported that a group of members of the European Parliament called on the European Commission to suspend Hungary’s participation in the Schengen zone because of the decision on visas for Russians.
