Forbes: Russian army covers the supply routes of the AFU with mines

Russian troops are covering the supply routes of the AFU with mines, Forbes magazine writes. According to the publication, this complicates Ukraine’s logistics and makes supply routes “impassable” without demining efforts.

“Using artillery mine-clearing systems, the Russians can remotely scatter anti-tank mines along the roads,” the article says.

Such tactics have been used in the Kharkiv region to disrupt Ukrainian forces’ efforts to resupply the AFU, the authors note.

Last October, it became known that Rostec companies had delivered a batch of complexes of the Zemledeliye engineering system of remote mines to Russian troops ahead of schedule.
