The AFU showed footage of Storm Shadow missile launch from a Su-24 bomber

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have shown footage of the launch of Anglo-French Storm Shadow missiles from a Soviet Su-24M bomber.

About it writes “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”. The footage of a few seconds shows the separation of missiles from the hull of the aircraft and their further launch.

Now, as the newspaper notes, most of the Ukrainian Su-24M bombers have been destroyed, so “the AFU is using Su-24MR reconnaissance planes converted into cruise missile carriers.”

In addition, the publication reports that videos of the launches have appeared only now, although Ukraine has been using these missiles for a year and a half. During this time, the Russian air defence has learned how to effectively shoot them down.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian specialists studying the Storm Shadow cruise missiles at their disposal had learnt to identify modifications of these missiles.
