US President Joe Biden has asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “not to bullshit him” while discussing talks on the Gaza Strip.
According to The Times of Israel, this happened during their telephone conversation.
The US president reacted sharply to the Israeli prime minister’s words that the country was “moving forward” in talks with Hamas to release hostages in exchange for a ceasefire.
Earlier, Biden warned in a conversation with Netanyahu that Tel Aviv risked being left without Washington’s help in case of another step towards escalation in the Middle East.
