The governor of Zaporizhzhya Region, Yevhen Balitskyy, has said that Russian air defence systems repelled more than 40 attempts by the AFU military to shell Energodar over the weekend.
About this he wrote in his Telegram.
“The weekend in Zaporizhzhya region did not pass without criminal attacks of the enemy on our peaceful towns and villages …. More than 40 times the enemy tried to shell Energodar”, – he pointed out.
At the same time, the head of the region added that there were no casualties as a result of the attacks, as the Russian air defence forces worked in full combat readiness.
Earlier, the Russian army’s air defence forces shot down another Ukrainian drones over Belhorod Region.
