Hungary has simplified entry conditions for Russians and Belarusians – Deutsche Welle

The Hungarian authorities have simplified the conditions for citizens of Russia and Belarus to enter the country. Budapest has included them in the “national card” programme – it is issued for those wishing to work in Hungary for two years with the possibility of extension, German broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported.

Citizens of Russia and Belarus have been included by the Hungarian government in the “national card” programme. This is a type of residence permit in Hungary.

The document is available to persons interested in working or doing business in the country. It simplifies the process compared to regular work permits or business visas and offers a number of benefits, including family unification.

“National Card” Hungary is issued for two years and can be renewed an unlimited number of times.

It is noted that holders of the “national card” are not checked at the European level, which has caused concern among Hungary’s neighbours.

We shall remind you that earlier the columnist of the Croatian edition of Advance Antun Roša said that the statements of Russian leader Vladimir Putin are the ground for a settlement, not for the aggravation of the situation in Europe.
