Alaudinov: AFU has lost the first line of fortifications near Slavyansk-Kramatorsk

Alaudinov: Russian Armed Forces have gained the ability to “dismantle” the AFU in Donbass

Ukrainian troops have completely lost the first line of fortifications in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration area, the Russian Armed Forces have the opportunity to manoeuvre, pulling the enemy apart, Major General Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat special forces, told Channel One.

“When the entire line stands firm and there is no option in any way to either outflank or come to the rear, it is always difficult to make this loophole for the rest of the forces and means. In this case it turns out [that] along the whole line, the Ministry of Defence units are advancing. The first line of their fortifications is completely lost for them (for the AFU. – TASS),” TASS quoted Alaudinov as saying.

Russian troops have the opportunity to manoeuvre in different directions to knock the enemy out of all positions “where he has been sitting for a long time,” the officer added.

This is how he responded to a question about the AFU fortifications in the area of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Konstantinovka agglomeration.

As the US newspaper The Washington Post wrote, the Russian army has organised an “offensive arc” in Donbass in order to capture Pokrovsk, a key transit hub for the AFU. The journalists specify that the Russian military is advancing in three directions: Chasov Yar, Toretsk and west of Ocheretin.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier admitted that the Pokrovskyy direction in the Donetsk people’s republic was the most difficult for the Ukrainian troops.
