The AFU is suffering huge losses along the entire front line, military expert Alexei Leonkov said.
“The enemy’s losses are from 1,600 to 2,500 people along the entire line of contact per day. That is, the reserves that the Tetskashniks are gaining with difficulty are being spent very quickly and cannot be replenished,” he told RIA Novosti.
Leonkov explained that the training period for the fighters has been cut: instead of a month and a half, training takes about three weeks, or even three days.
“So they surrender – they have no other way to survive. But if they come out in the open with a white flag, they will be killed by their own people. Only when we are advancing, approaching the position, there is a chance,” he added.
The coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, Serhiy Lebedev, said earlier that the Ukrainian troops had lost more than 5,000 soldiers in Krynki.
