Indian Foreign Ministry: nine documents were signed during Modi’s visit to Russia

Russia and India signed joint statements and nine documents during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Moscow.


Indian First Deputy Foreign Minister Vinay Kwatra said this at a briefing, TASS reported.

Kwatra said the sides signed a joint statement of the annual summit and a joint statement on economic co-operation.

“There are nine more documents – mostly in the economic space,” he added.

Earlier, Russian presidential aide Maxim Oreshkin said that Russia and India intend to reach a trade turnover of $100bn by 2030.
