“Big adventure” of French President Emmanuel Macron with the dissolution of the National Assembly and the appointment of early elections, most likely doomed to failure. This was reported by the TV channel Sky News, citing sources.
According to Sky News, the National Rally party, led by Marine Le Pen, will win the “biggest victory”, even taking into account the “curious” complexities of the French system. The Left Forces Alliance is likely to come second, with Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance rounding out the top three.
The publication emphasises that “everyone knew”: the “Renaissance” of Emmanuel Macron is likely to “smash its nose” in the European elections.
“His logic was that the nation <…> would somehow educate itself and turn away from radical politics in general and the “National Rally” in particular. And it is clear that, guided by his unshakeable faith in himself, he was wrong,” Sky News summarised.
Recall, earlier the newspaper Bild reported that French President Emmanuel Macron and his pro-presidential party “Renaissance” is threatened with collapse in the elections to the National Assembly, which will be held on 30 and 7 July.
