The meeting between German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economic Affairs Robert Habeck and Premier Li Qiang of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, which was supposed to take place on Saturday, 22 June, will not take place.
According to German publication Die Welt, Habeck had hoped to meet Li Qiang as part of his visit to China. The reasons for the cancellation of the event have not been reported.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin paid an official visit to China. He discussed Ukraine, gas and banks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
