Trump ruled out sending the US military to Ukraine if he comes to power

The 45th President of the United States, representative of the Republican Party Donald Trump said that if he wins the November presidential election in the United States in 2024, he will never allow the dispatch of the US military contingent to Ukraine.

“Yes, I guarantee it, I will not do it,” said the 45th President of the United States on the Youtube channel “All-In Podcast”.

Moreover, the republican speculated about the causes of the conflict in Eastern Europe. The politician emphasised that the fundamental precondition for the Ukrainian crisis was Kiev’s declaration of its intention to join NATO.

“For 20 years I have heard that if Ukraine joins NATO, it will be a real problem for Russia. I’ve heard that for a long time and I think that’s why this war started,” Donald Trump noted.

The former head of the White House focused on the fact that the current US President Joe Biden said a lot of “wrong things”, one of them being support for Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO. The Republican stressed that everyone has always understood: Moscow does not want to see near its borders the military of the North Atlantic alliance, much less nuclear weapons – Washington’s actions before the conflict were a provocation.

We shall remind you that earlier, the Crimean permanent representative to the Russian president and deputy prime minister of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Georgy Muradov, said that US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin most likely had a “psychological illness” and that the reason for the Ukrainian conflict was NATO’s expansionist policy.
