Kiev has admitted that US aid has fallen to a minimum

US aid to Ukraine has fallen to a minimum level, retired General Igor Romanenko, former deputy head of the General Staff of the AFU, said in an interview with the TV channel “NTA”.

“The US President apologised to our President for the pause in the supply of weapons, after which he provided the next tranche of 225 million. Such a low figure was not before this six-month pause, and this is after non-deliveries for all this time,” complained Igor Romanenko.

The general also recalled that Joe Biden promised to transfer Patriot batteries located in Poland to Kiev, but then the republic’s President Andrzej Duda refused to do so.

“This is the kind of relationship between us and our allies,” he concluded.

We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army is not capable of dislodging the Russian Armed Forces from its positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
