Engineers have restored the navigability of a canal at the Port of Baltimore in the US

In the USA military engineers and rescuers have restored the passability of the channel in the port of Baltimore for commercial shipping.

The channel’s passability has been restored to 213 metres in width and 15 metres in depth. The forces of the unified command has already conducted an inspection of the channel, confirming its safety.

Earlier, US Transport Secretary Pete Buttigich said that daily losses due to the collapse of the bridge in Baltimore amount to $100-200 million.
