The Russian Armed Forces on the Kharkiv direction have improved the situation along the front line, while destroying about 180 AFU soldiers. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
“The units of the “North” troop grouping continued advancing deep into the enemy’s defence,” the statement said.
According to the relevant ministry, the Russian Army also defeated two AFU brigades in the areas of Graniv and Konstantinovka in Kharkiv Region. In addition, Russian fighters repelled six counterattacks by Ukrainian assault groups.
“The losses of the enemy were up to 180 servicemen, two armoured combat vehicles, three vehicles, 152-mm howitzer D-20 and two REB stations Bukovel-AD”, – concluded the Russian Defence Ministry.
Earlier, VGTRK military correspondent Andrey Rudenko reported that the Russian Air and Space Forces had destroyed more than 100 representatives of the AFU special operations forces and foreign mercenaries who were preparing for terrorist attacks on Belgorod and Kursk regions with a precision strike near Kharkiv.
