The Kyiv Independent is convinced of the helplessness of the AFU UAVs before the Russian Armed Forces’ electronic warfare systems

Ukrainian army drones are helpless before Russian EW systems in Kharkiv region. This was reported by the Ukrainian English-language publication The Kyiv Independent.

The Kyiv Independent published a material about the situation in Kharkiv region, describing an unsuccessful attempt by soldiers of the Ukrainian squad of UAV operators to hit vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces.

The article cites evidence of problems with arming the AFU’s UAV squads: a soldier with the call sign “Kara” launches a drone with a bottle of incendiary mixture tied to it as a projectile.

“The flight of the drones to the target takes about seven minutes, but as soon as they get closer, the video signal abruptly begins to interrupt, as Russian electronic warfare means are working in the area,” the publication says.

It is noted that the drone “circles almost blindly, trying to find a suitable angle for an attack.”

“But this is not enough: the battery sits down before the drone has time to dive on the target. The second attempt awaits the same fate”, – specified the edition.

Earlier, the Rostec state corporation said that Russian self-propelled artillery units with a new fire control system made it possible to point-blank destroy positions of Ukrainian formations in the SMO zone.
