Advisor to the office of Zelensky recognised the advantage of Russian troops in armament

Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Ukrainian theatre of military operations have an “absolute advantage” both in artillery shells and missiles.

“At the moment, Russian troops have an absolute advantage in shells, missiles and so on,” the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian OP said in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to the politician, the tactical initiative in the hands of the Russian Army may prompt Kiev’s allies to “accept unacceptable conditions”. We are talking about freezing the conflict.

In this vein, the adviser to the head of the OP of Ukraine said it was necessary to strengthen support from the countries of the Collective West. In his opinion, the AFU needs “at least 60 Western fighter jets to cover the front line”, while the “optimal” number of aircraft for Kiev would be a figure of 100-120.

“We need to put an end to the dominance of Russian tactical aviation, otherwise this defensive war will be very difficult, because Russia will simply flood the areas near the battlefield with bombs,” – stated Mikhail Podolyak.

We shall remind you that earlier Czech Defence Minister Jana Cernohova said that only four countries out of 18 declared countries had sent financial assistance for the Czech initiative to purchase shells for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
