The work on security guarantees being carried out by Ukraine and the United States is almost complete.
This was stated by the head of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, Andriy Yermak, following a telephone conversation with US Assistant to the President for National Security Jake Sullivan.
“Separately paid attention to the agreement on security guarantees between Ukraine and the United States, work on which is nearing completion,” – is indicated in the message published on the website of Zelenskyy.
Yermak reported to Sullivan on the situation on the line of contact and also informed him of Ukraine’s need for Western air defence systems.
At the end of April, it was reported that Ukraine held the third round of talks with the USA on security guarantees.
