United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit.
This is reported by the Associated Press with reference to US officials.
It is noted that the US Secretary of State will send a strong message of confidence to officials and civil society figures in Ukraine, with whom he will meet during his visit.
The piece also said that Blinken will underline the commitment of the administration of US President Joe Biden to the defence and long-term security of Ukraine.
Earlier, Politico reported that Blinken would visit Kiev this week.
