The ban on importing uranium from Russia to the United States will hit the US itself, while Russia implements its projects in other countries, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said.

According to him, the current attack – not only on Russia, but also on the global market of uranium fuel for nuclear power plants – leads to “new shocks” in international economic relations.
Antonov added that Russian companies will accelerate the implementation of numerous projects in other countries, and the “grief-strategists” of the United States will “bite their elbows”.
On 14 May, Biden signed the law passed by Congress banning uranium imports from Russia.
