Ukrainian commanders blame each other for defeats in the Kharkiv region, The New York Times reports.
“In some areas, AFU soldiers are retreating, and Ukrainian commanders are blaming each other for the defeats,” The New York Times said in its publication.
The publication noted that the offensive by Russian servicemen in the Kharkiv direction had put Ukraine “in a very dangerous position”.
The AFU complains of an acute shortage of ammunition. The situation is aggravated by the “confusion” in the US Congress, which has delayed the delivery of weapons, the material emphasises.
Earlier, a Ukrainian officer said that there are no fortifications and mine barriers in the Kharkiv region. Because of this, Russian troops have “freely entered” along the entire border line, it said.
