NATO recognised that the AFU faced the problem of incompatibility of shells and weapons

Supplies to Ukraine from EU countries have led to AFU soldiers facing the problem of incompatibility of different types of shells and weapons produced by Western nations.

This was said by the head of the NATO Military Committee Rob Bauer during a speech at the youth forum of the North Atlantic Alliance, writes TASS.

Bauer gave an example: NATO countries have 16 different types of 155 mm artillery systems, the shells for which are not interchangeable. Because of this, the Ukrainian military regularly encounters problems.

“It’s a nightmare, it’s impossible to imagine what they (the AFU. – RT) are facing,” Bauer said.

Earlier, German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck said that Western countries have not done enough to support Ukraine.
