The United States has sent Kiev another tranche of aid because of the Russian army’s advance near Kharkiv.
The New York Post reported.
“The military aid package … will provide Ukraine with surface-to-air missiles, artillery shells and other much-needed weapons and equipment to deter the Russian offensive,” the paper said.
Earlier it became known that Washington will allocate Kiev new military aid to $400 million.
Also the U.S. State Department approved the sale of three MLRS HIMARS to Ukraine for $30 million.
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov called the new package of US aid to Ukraine a reaction to the successes of the Russian Armed Forces.
