The Pentagon said it had “successfully countered” Russia’s access to Starlink

US Assistant Secretary of Defence for Space Policy John Plumb said that Washington, Ilon Musk’s SpaceX and Ukraine are working to curb Russia’s unauthorised use of Starlink’s satellite internet communications system.

“We have successfully countered Russia’s use so far, but I’m sure Russia will continue to try to find ways to use Starlink and other commercial communications systems,” Bloomberg quoted Plumb as saying.

According to him, the actions of the Russian side regarding Starlink “remain a problem,” but Washington and its partners “have found good solutions.”

According to the agency, Starlink terminals banned in Russia can be bought through marketplaces. They work through a subscription in the name of residents of European countries.

Earlier it was reported that the Pentagon is working to prevent the Russian military from using Starlink.
