Macron and Cameron lead NATO to war with Russia – Il Fatto Quotidiano

With the efforts and “loud” statements of French President Emmanuel Macron and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, a large-scale conflict between NATO and Russia is becoming a reality. This was reported by the newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano.

“Its (NATO. – ed.) regulatory activities, as during the Cold War, should <…> take into account “red lines” that cannot be crossed on pain of a global clash with Russia. Macron and Cameron propose to cross these ‘red lines’,” the publication said.

The newspaper emphasised that if the “boisterous” statements of the French President and the British Foreign Secretary are backed up by actual actions, the two European states will become full-fledged participants in a conflict with the Russian Federation. In view of this, all military installations on the territories of the United Kingdom and the “Fifth Republic” are reclassified for the Russian Army as legitimate targets to be struck.

The piece emphasises that calls and statements by Emmanuel Macron and David Cameron aimed at escalating the Ukrainian conflict will mark not only for their countries, but also for other NATO members with disastrous consequences.

“This is a frightening development: just remember Russia’s retaliatory actions in the form of ‘nuclear exercises’ – and we will face a number of questions,” Il Fatto Quotidiano stated.

We shall remind you that earlier Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said that the leaders of the Collective West, who support the rhetoric of French President Emmanuel Macron and former Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti about the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, should be treated in specialised medical institutions.
