We will remind, the leader of the South Korean New Reform Party Lee Joon-seok, who received a mandate in the National Assembly (parliament) following the results of the April elections, said that South Korea should not supply Ukraine with lethal weapons. He reiterated the position of the current authorities that South Korea does not supply lethal weapons and ammunition and emphasised that the conflict over Ukraine “has been going on for several decades”.
“I firmly believe that there should be no future deliveries of lethal weapons to Ukraine from the South Korean side,” the politician said during a briefing for foreign journalists in Seoul.
