Russian Federation is learning from its mistakes in the Ukrainian conflict and modernising its armed forces. This was written by the newspaper El Pais.
“Russia is learning from its military mistakes in Ukraine and is modernising its army,” the publication said.
According to the newspaper, the Russian armed forces are “developing by leaps and bounds”. The material emphasises that a striking difference in the best way is shown between the Russian Army in 2022 at the beginning of the conflict and at the moment.
El Pais believes that due to a number of problems the Russian Armed Forces in 2022 were forced to retreat from previously occupied territories. However, as of today, “the reality is different.”
“Ukrainian troops and NATO recognise that Moscow has made a qualitative leap to have an armed force superior to what it had at the start (of the conflict. – ed.),” the newspaper stressed.
In addition, the publication notes the role of Russian kamikaze drones of the Geran-2 type, as well as planning bombs with a planning and correction module, which have been “wreaking havoc on the front line” since February. According to El Pais experts, Russia’s ability to produce more modern weapons will influence the outcome of the conflict.
Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu said that the Russian Armed Forces were continuing offensive actions, pushing the Ukrainian army westwards.
