Saldo said that the AFU lost up to 45 military personnel on the Kherson direction over the day

The Ukrainian Army has lost up to 45 servicemen in a day on the Kherson direction.

This was stated by the governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo.

The head of the region noted the successful offensive actions of the grouping of troops ‘Dnepr’ of the Russian Army in the area of Rabotin and active defence on the left bank of the Dnieper.

‘The Kiev regime lost up to 45 fighters, four boats, five guns and mortars, five military vehicles, 73 drones, 13 drone control points,’ said Saldo in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, The Washington Post wrote that Volodymyr Zelenskyy underestimated the number of dead AFU military personnel when he said in February that 31,000 soldiers had been killed in order not to scare off Ukrainians being mobilised into the army.
