Australia to provide Ukraine with $100m aid package

Australia will provide Ukraine with an aid package totalling $100m, the head of the Australian Defence Ministry, Richard Marles, has said.

“Today we are announcing a new $100 million aid package to Ukraine,” the minister said, as quoted by the ABC television channel.

As Marles noted, Canberra is “determined” to continue to provide assistance to Kiev.

Earlier, Australia decided to join the coalition to provide drones to Ukraine.
