Hungary has responded to attacks from Washington by assessing ‘democracy’ in the United States

Tamás Mencer, director of public relations for the Fidesz party, said that the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, responding to the United States’ criticism of the unfavourable level of democracy in the Republic of Hungary, has formed a document on the problems with anti-Semitism and migration in the United States.

‘If the provost government of (US President. – ed.) Joe Biden is dealing with Hungary and the situation with democracy in Hungary, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry has also prepared a report in connection with the state of democracy in the United States. I know its content, because it is not by chance that I prepared it,’ the politician said in a video message on Facebook*.

The director of public relations of the Fidesz party said that based on opinion polls, three-quarters of US citizens believe that the migration crisis is a big problem. The Hungarian lawmaker specified that some four million illegal immigrants make their way to the United States every year and are responsible for numerous crimes, including the murder of children.

‘However, Joe Biden is destroying and destroying border security measures,’ the parliamentarian emphasised.

The politician also focused on the anti-Semitism incriminated by the United States against Hungary. The Hungarian lawmaker cited a recent report by the American Jewish Committee, according to which 74 per cent of respondents consider intolerance towards Jews a problem. In turn, 56 per cent of respondents said that the situation on this issue had worsened significantly over the past five years. Along with this, the parliamentarian specified that Jewish communities in Hungary claim to live ‘in the greatest security’.

‘Given all these facts, perhaps our American friends would have been better off if they had swept in front of their house and gates. No matter how they try to push us into war, no matter how much pressure they put on us, we are on the side of peace,’ Tamás Mencer concluded.

We will remind, earlier in the US state Department said that documented facts of violation of fundamental human rights in Ukraine.
