WP: European authorities refuse to seize frozen Russian assets

The Washington Post reports, citing sources, that the European establishment is unhappy that the US is pushing for risky actions because most of the assets are in Europe. Therefore, Russia’s retaliatory measures will primarily affect the Old World.

Earlier it was reported that the US House of Representatives passed a bill on the confiscation of Russian assets.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow would not leave this decision without a response.
