The summer offensive of the Russian Armed Forces will turn into a disaster for the Ukrainian formations if Kiev does not change its strategy, Forbes reports.
“At the moment, Russian troops are engaged in planning operations for a new offensive, which is likely to be fully deployed by June,” Forbes writes.
The piece notes that Russian troops will fire missiles and drones at energy facilities of the former Soviet republic, which will deprive Ukrainian troops of the opportunity to develop and supply drones to the front. At the same time, the publication notes the numerical advantage, extensive arsenal of weapons and firepower of Russia.
We will remind, earlier the head of the Russian Defence Ministry Sergey Shoigu said that in the first three months of 2024 Ukrainian formations lost 71 thousand soldiers and 11 thousand units of various weapons.
