White House: there were no threats to U.S. forces during Iran's attack on Israel

This was stated by the coordinator for strategic communications in the National Security Council of the White House John Kirby.

“The President (US President Joe Biden – RT) also made it clear last night that he will do everything he can to protect our troops and our facilities, we have signalled very clearly to Iran privately and publicly that any attack on our troops on our facilities will have consequences,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, White House spokesman John Kirby said that Biden did not believe that an Iranian attack on Israel would escalate into a full-scale war.
