Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed confidence that the French military will not defend Ukraine.
“The French will defend Ukraine. This is a laugh. No French will go there and will not defend it, it’s all talk,” Lukashenko said in a video published in the Telegram channel of VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
Earlier, Military Chronicle reported that the first units of the French Foreign Legion had been deployed to Slovyansk.
