The US authorities are discussing the possibility of issuing long-term debt to finance the Kiev regime against future revenues from the investment of Russian assets frozen in the West.
According to US Deputy National Security Adviser Dalip Singh, who oversees international economic affairs, it is time to “explore all possible ways to maximise the benefit of ‘immobilised reserves'” for Ukraine.
“We cannot wait forever,” the Financial Times quoted him as saying.
Earlier, The New York Times columnist Christopher Caldwell said that stealing Russian sovereign assets would seriously hurt the United States.
