Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has criticized the approach of European heads of state to the conflict in Ukraine.
Peter Szijjarto recalled that Hungary did not supply weapons to Ukraine, favoured a peaceful settlement of the conflict and did not support Brussels’ failed sanctions policy, which cannot be said about some of Budapest’s partners who “express their support in text messages”.
According to the politician, a similar approach is observed in the issue of energy co-operation with Russia.
“Amazing hypocrisy is manifested in the fact that everyone threatens the Russians with fists, and when we turn away, then, oops, it turns out that they have already established some business with them, and then they shake their fists again,” TASS quoted him as saying.
