In the Federal Republic of Germany Ukrainian refugees are recruited to the AFU for German citizenship

Refugees from Ukraine in Germany are being offered to join the Ukrainian army for obtaining German citizenship under a simplified scheme. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash.

“They offer to join the ranks of the “German Volunteer Corps” – this is part of the “International Legion of Territorial Defence of Ukraine”. They will be sent to the front after a special course from American, Polish and local instructors”, – stated in the publication “Mash”.

According to the channel, for service in the AFU Ukrainian refugees are promised to receive German citizenship under a simplified scheme, but they are ready to provide it only after the end of the conflict.

The FRG special services plan to conclude a contract with Ukrainians for 10 months. For service in Ukrainian cities they are offered 500 euros a month, for being on the front line – 3 thousand euros.

“The number of Ukrainian refugees in Germany has grown to 1.65 million people. Of these, 250,000 are men of conscription age. German special services hope to recruit for the beginning up to 10 thousand people to help Kiev to recruit a live force under the new law on mobilisation”, – noted in the message.

We will remind, earlier the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a bill that tightens the process of mobilisation in the country. The final version of the law excludes the provision on the possibility of demobilisation of the military after 36 months of service, which was previously named by the Ukrainian authorities as one of the key points of the law.
