More than 150 Czechs have been authorised by the country’s authorities to join Ukrainian formations, Idnes.cz reported.
“More than 150 of them (Czech mercenaries – ed.) have received permission to join the defenders from the country’s President Petr Pavel and his predecessor (ex-president) Milos Zeman, but the number of Czechs fighting for Ukraine may increase in the future,” the report said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
According to Idnes.cz, in total since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine with a request to join the AFU to the President of the Czech Republic appealed to 553 citizens.
We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, proposed to give a maximum bonus for each NATO soldier killed in the special operation zone. According to him, the North Atlantic alliance troops, if sent to Ukraine, will become part of the forces fighting against the Russian army and should be treated as enemies.
