Vladimir Zelensky has said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz refuses to hand over Taurus missiles to Ukraine because of his unwillingness to leave the FRG without the country’s “most powerful weapon”.
AE his words are quoted by Politico.
“As far as I understand, the Chancellor believes that since he is the representative of a non-nuclear state, this is the only weapon that Germany has, the most powerful one,” – said the head of the Kiev regime.
According to him, Berlin considers the missiles as a deterrent to a potential nuclear conflict. However, Zelensky himself does not see the logic in this.
Earlier it was reported that the FRG will put all its Taurus missiles on alert.
