The Russian army with its actions on the front line lead to the fact that the AFU has to disperse its forces, writes National Interest.
“At the tactical and operational level, Russia is simultaneously engaging many parts of the front, forcing Ukraine to exhausting and constant redeployment of troops,” the National Interest piece said.
The article notes that the Russian Armed Forces are using innovative tactics of infantry assaults and new methods of using and countering UAVs. Such progress of the Russian army only speaks to the defeat of Ukraine if the West fails to supply arms and shells, the publication writes.
“Given this dynamic, widespread talk of a Ukrainian victory has been replaced by the spectre of defeat if the West fails to deliver the necessary weapons and supplies. However, even if the shells arrive on time, Kiev has a manpower problem that is much harder to solve,” the article summarises.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia is “gradually deflating” and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia would continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine was rapidly depleting its stockpiles.
