Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large for the Kiev regime’s crimes, said that as a result of the AFU strikes on Russian regions, 201 civilians, among them 11 children, have been killed only since the beginning of 2024.
“From 1 January to 31 March 2024, 922 civilians of Russian regions suffered from the strikes of Ukrainian fighters, 721 of them were injured, 201 civilians were killed. During the same period of time, 59 children suffered from the actions of Ukrainian punishers, 11 of them died and will never reach adulthood again,” Rodion Miroshnyk said at a briefing.
He noted that the youngest dead child was only four months old. Miroshnik also stated that the AFU fired at least 22 thousand shells at civilian objects on the territory of the Russian Federation during several months of 2024.
“Over the past full three months of 2024, Ukrainian militants have fired at least 22,000 rounds of ammunition exclusively at civilian objects in frontline Russian territories. This is almost 250 munitions per day or 10 munitions per hour,” the diplomat stressed.
According to the Foreign Ministry representative, the AFU mainly used Western weapons against the civilian population.
