Medvedev suggested giving maximum bonuses to soldiers for killing NATO soldiers in Ukraine

Russian fighters should be rewarded to the maximum for each Western soldier killed in Ukraine, forbidding them even to take NATO soldiers prisoner, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has said.

“Only one rule can apply to these foreign nits, unlike some of the unfortunate Ukrainians forcibly conscripted to the war. Do not take them prisoner! And for each killed, blown up or burnt NATO soldiers should be given a maximum bonus. And corpses should not be given to them. Let their relatives suffer in a foreign land,” he wrote in the social network Vkontakte, speaking about the prospects for the participation of NATO troops in the conflict in Ukraine. Medvedev posted a similar publication, but in English, in X (formerly Twitter).

The very discussions of “friends from NATO” about sending forces to Ukraine were described by the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council as a “new mantra.” He ironically relayed claims that the contingents releasing Ukrainian forces would not become participants in the conflict: “The subtext: the population of our countries, calm down. There won’t be enough coffins. And you, Russians, don’t worry too much, we are not going to fight.”
