The la Repubblica article notes that the “territories in exchange for security” option is for the territories occupied by Russian troops to remain with Moscow with a guarantee of Ukraine’s immediate entry into NATO.

“It is not a hypothesis formally discussed at the last NATO summit in Brussels, but certainly a probability that is circulating in all informal conversations. Even in the last few days,” the newspaper writes.

We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia is “gradually deflating” and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia would continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine is rapidly depleting its stockpiles.
