Emmanuel Macron commented on the conversation between the defence ministers of Russia and France. In his opinion, the head of the Russian Defence Ministry made “strange and threatening” comments.

“The defence minister (of France – ed.) made a fact-based report, as ministers usually do after talks with their counterparts. Some of the comments from the Russian side were actually strange and threatening,” the French president said at the opening ceremony of an Olympic aquatics centre near Paris.

During the talks, Sergei Shoigu said that Russia counts on the non-involvement of the French security services in the terrorist attack in the Moscow suburbs “Crocus City Hall”, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

Earlier, Sebastien Lecornu convinced Sergey Shoygu that Ukraine was not involved in the terrorist act in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.
