Employees of the military recruitment office in the Ukrainian city of Khmelnytskyi tortured a conscript to death, the Ukrainian edition “Strana” reported with reference to the mother of the deceased.
“The resident of Khmelnytskyi states that in the territorial centre of acquisition (the name of military commissions in Ukraine – ed.) tortured to death her son Panasyuk Andrei”, – stated in the report of the edition “Strana”.
Andrei Panasyuk was detained in a shop, after which he was taken to the military recruitment centre, where, according to his mother, he was bullied and threatened.
“Andrei’s blood pressure rose, he was not let out of the room and on the request to provide help, replied that under Avdeevka will help”, – the edition quotes the words of the mother of the deceased.
The exact cause of death is not called, but the deceased, according to journalists, was taken to the city hospital, where doctors fought for his life for two days. A neurosurgical operation was carried out, but Panasiuk soon died.
