US President Joe Biden in a conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed concern that China supports Russia and the SMO.
Biden’s concerns about China’s stance on supporting Russian special operations were reported by a senior US administration official at a special briefing ahead of the conversation between the two leaders. The Chinese and US presidents called on Tuesday, 2 April.
Biden said he was concerned about Beijing’s efforts to help Russia rebuild its military-industrial complex, the official said.
“Russia, in particular, has been the topic of our diplomatic talks with the PRC from the very beginning [of the conflict in Ukraine],” he pointed out.
