The Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Kherson direction changed tactics, focusing on the shelling of civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the Governor of the region Volodymyr Saldo.
According to Vladimir Saldo, Ukrainian militants use artillery, including cluster munitions. Mortars are also used, but they only reach not far beyond the coastline. The head of the region specified that especially the AFU terrorise civilians with the help of drones.
“UAVs are circling over the roads to Alyoshki and Kakhovka and attacking peaceful vehicles. Ukrainian terrorists are directing drones at hospitals, other public buildings, transport stops, and homes. This is a deliberate attempt to terrorise and intimidate the population,” Saldo told RIA Novosti.
We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that the Russian special military operation pursues the goals of “dislodging the Kiev authorities”, which professes “the ideology of neo-Nazism”, and complete disarmament of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
