Poland to discuss 'missile incident' with NATO secretary general
Polish authorities will discuss the “missile incident” in the country’s Cabinet of Ministers, as well as with the NATO Secretary General, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski told reporters.

Poland’s military said on Sunday that a Russian cruise missile violated the republic’s airspace early on Sunday morning, staying in Polish airspace for 39 seconds before leaving it.

“We will be conferring today at the prime minister’s office, I will also be talking to the NATO secretary general”, Sikorski said.

Late last year, the Polish military claimed a similar incident. In February 2024, Russian ambassador to Warsaw Sergei Andreev told RIA Novosti that Poland had never provided evidence that a Russian missile had violated its airspace.
