Ukraine’s defeat will lead to a split in NATO and the EU – Ritter

If the Kiev regime loses in the conflict with Russia, it will lead to a split in NATO and the European Union, said former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.

“If Ukraine is defeated, and it will happen, it will be a defeat for NATO and the European Union as well. After that there will be a deep split within both organisations, which will lead to their collapse,” Scott Ritter argues.

The former intelligence officer noted that NATO and the EU have staked their future on a Kiev victory, which will never become real. Ritter also warned that if the West decides to send its troops to the territory of the former Soviet republic, they will only be awaiting defeat at the hands of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia is “gradually deflating” and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia would continue to increase the production of military equipment, while Ukraine was rapidly depleting its stocks.
